BWL is on the road delivering bid training to competition winners

BWL Consulting recently launched a social media competition for five lucky businesses to win a free bid training workshop to improve their bid writing and management processes.

CRK Engineering Ltd, a leading fabrication and maintenance company based in Hull, was one of the winners who received the bid training, delivered by an expert Bid Consultant from BWL.

CRK Engineering specialises in fabricating and welding bespoke steelwork for food manufacturers, pharmaceutical businesses, construction businesses and modular contractors, as well as others.

The company relied upon referrals and repeat business to source new business opportunities, and as such, are keen to explore new ways of writing compelling responses and winning more contracts through BWL’s bid training.

Mark Kemp, Manager at CRK Engineering, said: “We were really pleased that we won the competition so that BWL could help us enhance our bid writing process.

"The session was invaluable; we now have an action plan in place to design and develop our supporting company documentation, which will give us a competitive edge in the bidding process. We were also given useful tips to identify new tender opportunities, and how to appeal to the evaluator, and grab their attention through our bid responses.

BWL Consulting’s bid training package included a review of CRK’s current bid and tender processes, followed by best practice guidance on identifying new tenders, enhancing supporting bid documentation, APMP bid process and specialist bid writing techniques.

The training was completely tailored to the needs of the business and was designed to help CRK Engineering maximise their chances of success when submitting bids in the future.
